Hi. I am looking for a second Solo mould if anyone can help me. hic pic.jpghic pic.jpghic pic.jpg

Yes. I have sanded the glue in between each layer. I didn’t want 2 full coatings but the glue really settled down and left a thick edge on the box. I didn’t like it so I did another layer. I’ve done 3 separate effect layers and let them dry. I think it’s about ready for sanding and final panting. Then I’ll hang it while I finish the panels.

interesting i didnt even think about having to sand the glue

The stain process.
This is done with an acrylic black paint, water, and dish soap.

Just apply it it with a brush and then wipe it off with a damp towel. Apply pressure as needed.

What does everyone use for the large green light opening on the hero panel?

Its just a green led light and plexiglass I used wax paper and a print on clear Cricut paper originally. I don’t like the lines and am planning to just draw in the line on the wax paper.

Love that light over Solo! I wonder if you could source an orange light this season due to Halloween? Would look awesome!

This is amazing!!!!! I do wish I could do this. No wonder Sideshow charges $6500 for it.

What would you say the entire project, including your time, cost you?

Who did you get your panels from? Did they need a lot of clean-up?

Long time since I’ve been on.

The total is about $1500. And a lot of time. It is very fun.... but very involved.
