Anyone ever tried one of these little Marshall amps with vocals? I've done it in the studio and the over drive on these little battery powered amps is ideal to my ears. I've seen them for as low as $25 used. There really isn't too much pitch shifting going on with his voice in the movie. Sounds low fi and distorted mostly. Those little Marshall amps are LOUD. You could remove the electronics from the amp shell and mount it how you want. And then plug any mic you'd like into it. I may pick one up and give it a shot for my Black Series helmet. I will post a video link if it pans out.
