Nice work katsu-San, love the work on the upper deck, the sphere with the lines is totally brilliant, the blue steel paint on the lower deck floor also looks fantastic, the green of the upper deck gives a nice reflective colour to the lower deck
great work as always
your sister is single and 7 years younger !!! You sound like a dating service and trying to get her a partner :lol
Thank you very much always, Bengrim09-san.
Naa, my sister is too much enjoying her life already.
Been looking at me, she decided not to involve a man in her life.
Good thinking.
Love the updates and the command room looks very cool. But the real question is how does everyone stay so thin eating NY cheese cake?!!!
Thank you very much, Bones-san.
Exercise, my friend, exercise. (double cross):lol
Just those few minutes of fireworks were pretty spectacular.
I don't know which pictures made me smile more - the command room or the lit up engines. They're both beautiful.
Thank you very much, Tom-san!
That was a wonderful night.
Such a beautiful build. Love the way the lights enhance it.
Thank you very much for the kind comment, Moo-san.
Today's pics are little bit boring but please have a look.
Before I finish and seal the control room, I may have to make some crew figures.
This morning I made a dozen of these.
Here's the series of pics how I made the small figure.
For the instruction purpose, the figures in the pics are doubled scale for the actual figures that I am going to put in a model.
I used a 0.3 mm thick sheet aluminum for the actual figures.
In the pics, I used 0.5 mm sheet aluminum.
Not be seen in the pics but I scribed some shallow line on the sheet aluminum.
I marked three horizontal lines which are the length from the bottom to the crotch,
from the bottom to the armpit and from bottom to the shoulder.
Then I cut it up with a nail scissors.
Then I cut off both shoulder line with a sharp nipper.(Do not use the scissors)
Then I folded forward the head in half.
Then, I cut off both arms for an appropriate length with a nipper.
Trimmed the overall shape with a nipper and polished with a nail file.
Isn't it looks like a human figure, isn't it?.....No?
The dirty on the right is the tip of my index finger.
No! no! Tom-san, no!.
I made a small figures not the big finger.:angry
The smaller figure on the right is the one goes in the model.
When I got used to do it, I was able to make one in a 5 minutes.
One of the failed work.
Thanks for looking!:lol
