I'd say the staff looks to be almost a foot longer than she is tall, but it's hard to tell from photographs. 6 feet should be fine... if someone needs to make it a bit longer that shouldn't be a problem.
There was some talk a few posts back about common diameter wooden dowels that are available. I'll go back and see what that person came up with for a dowel size that's good and then you could scale your print to fit over that. This way the kits will be easier to find a staff for and assemble.

It seems that the prevailing wisdom was that a 3/4" diameter was best in terms of strength and the closest to the "right" size. That commentor mentioned that they used 3/4" PVC because they couldn't find a 3/4" dowel rod any longer than 4 feet. I personally believe that I;ve found longer dowel rods at the Depot before, but that may be a concern for people wanting to use wood--as Division 6 pointed out you can see the original prop was built on wood before casting.
