Limited Run Zoom cowl from CW Flash.. From 3D printed master/scan

OK 10 spots full..if your interested I will keep deposits open until I'm back from vacation..then it wont be long till I mold :)
 
So just watched the new Flash and looked very closely at his mask. I originally thought that maybe the mask was foam latex, but why have the massive slit with a zipper (as shown in the pic on set, and you can see it in the opening scene) if it was? That stuff is pretty dang flexible and even if the actor just needed to get past the neck, then why make the slit all the way up the back of the head?. I am starting to think it is just regular latex, or maybe something similar? Of course I could be wrong.


Anyway I am looking forward to updates.

Yeah its latex.. not sure if its foam or not..but this one will be 40 shore urethan rubber. I dont use latex at all. The slit has a zipper for easy on and off.. might be the stuntones your seeing in those shots? But all the cowls on the show have them.

Check out the Zoom screencaps/ build thread. I'm posting every single angle we see of Zoom, from the episodes. Every screenshot from behind looks like there is a zipper.
 
Probably still foam latex, there are doubtless several different masks, one with a slightly offset zipper wouldn't be too difficult to imagine.
 
Yep! Different suits for stunts/ battle damage etc.
When you get your Zoom masks and you ever do a slightly offset zipper, you can now argue that it is, indeed, screen accurate :)

I know that David from UD Replicas is working on making The Flash, RF & Zoom suits, from his previous work it's safe to assume it's going to be super accurate. One of TheRocketeer's cowls will go perfect with it as UD Replicas suits are only from the chin down, I know I'll definitely be putting the two together!
