Zombieland!

Those theme park scenes were shot here in Valdosta. I heard, after the fact, that Woody(and Matthew McConaughey, who's rumored to be in the movie) were in some of the local bars. Yeah, my wife was upset to have missed MM.

Nice!
I had not heard of this one. I LOVE me some zombies:love
Not a huge fan of Woody, but I can overlook that for some good flesh eaters:thumbsup

A good portion of the film was shot in Georgia. The production co, Zombieland Productions, purchased alot of tactical gear from my company. The theme park scenes were shot at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga, Like Kttlemeier said.

There's a scene in that trailer that was shot outside the building I work in in downtown Atlanta. I went to work on a Saturday to get some stuff done in off-hours and I couldn't get into the building because they were shooting.

It was pretty entertaining. I was standing behind the burning car in one shot though I don't know if they used the take or two I was present for. Pretty cool though.

Cool. I haven't seen a good zombie flick since Shawn of the Dead. Don't even get me started on Diary of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead. I double face palm each one of them.

i know a member here who was involved in that project.:)

That might be me :ninja (wardrobe dept.)
I can't wait to see how this turned out!.. A lot of GA friends got jobs as extras on this.. The script was actually pretty good..
(Hey Vengecore! I want to come see your store..I need tac-gear..)

I read this script at the end of last year and I couldn't put it down. It was fun & original and the trailer makes me feel as though they might've gotten it right.

Looking forward to it!

I'm sorry, that's just too unbelievable for me. Zombies would be totally frozen in the snow. Their harmless that time of year.

This is the scene I was there for. The building on the right hand side is where I work. They apparently wanted to film in the lobby of our building but the university wouldn't let them I guess. No idea why... I was standing in the doorway back over behind the burning car during a couple of takes for this shot. I think this was just a second unit shot. It appears to just be a generic "scenes about town" type of shot to estabish the whole "zombie apocalypse" vibe. All the storefronts on the left side of the street are real businesses that I frequent most days...
