Hello there!

First of all, sorry for my English (I'm from Transylvania and not using Google Translate :) ), but I think, you will understand me.

This Community is AMAZING, just Wow! I'm new here and glad to be here.

I would like to present you my concept of a really "bad/dark" saber...
I'll start with the end concept, latter on with the beginning and how I came to do this.

Short, Obi1's saber was always the peek in Star Wars saber design for me. I don't know, why that saber was not given to Darth Vader?!?

Ok, to long to read... here we go.

Just some explanations.

I would like to tell me your opinion about this. If you want, you can vote for 1 to 5. This is just an image/picture processing.
I'll make next year the real thing on hard wood. Of course with pictures, but before that, I'll explain to you, how I decided, to choose that concept.
And if it feels good in the hand, I'll make a "real lightsaber" from it. Aluminum, for the weight, and the rest, you know, blade and sound (oh BTW, the sound... I have a concept about the speaker positioning for the best sound in the blade direction not behind).

Till then, take care out there!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

HMMM...someone from Transylvania going dark...where have i heard this before? lol, jk. Very Cool designs and i like number 4 the best, 5 in a close second. Very interested to see this hilt reach it's ultimate destination...produced in aluminum. great job

Hi Adizeb. I'd have to agree with the general concensus of others. Option 4 is my favorite - and is very closely followed by Option 5.

It's just my opinion, but I think the only thing keeping Option 5 from being my favorite is the redundancy of the vertical bar design over so much of the hilt. Breaking that up with some other design element could make it soar into 1st place for me personally.

On a side note, are these 3D designed and/or have you considered 3D printing them? I do a little of both on the side (as a hobby) so feel free to send me a PM if you'd be interested!

Wow, Thank you all!

I'm still working on the "end" concept... Every time I look at the "sabers", still have questions on design. They are not 3D designed, just pictures put together. As I wrote at the beginning, I'll make a resume, how I got this design. Thank you!
