Woah-woah-woah - now we've gone too far -- Caveman is awesome

I'll agree that some of the movies listed here are definitely bad, but the worst, for me, was Going Overboard with Adam Sandler.

I've seen tons of bad "b" movies, but by far the worst was Battlefield Earth. The director did not have enough "vision" to dub another actor's voice in place of "vinnie barbarino's". It was so painful I couldn't get thru the whole film. I may have to rewatch the blessed thing just because I have a new found appreciation for Barry Pepper, but Travolta will never be more mis-cast than he was in this film. I'm shuddering as we speak!!!!!

I just thought of another one. Now, this film might be good, but I don't know because the first 20 minutes are soooooo bad, that I can't get past them - The Fountain.

I have tried, on 4 seperate occassions, to watch this film. But the first 20 minutes are so cinvoluted and boring that I just walk away, every time.

Caveman was a riot!

Of course I was about 12 when I saw it!

EVERYone talks about how bad this thing is. It has actually raised my curiosity.

It's best when you go in intending to riff it all the way through. And trust me -- it provides you with AMPLE opportunity to do so.

"Ratbrain!"

:lol

The US 'Godzilla' is the worst I've actually seen, closely followed by the Thomas Crown remake. Trailers and clips generally protect me from experiencing awful films. A film which I suspect is worse even than Godzilla would be 'Angels and Demons', based as it is on far and away the worst book I've ever read in my life.

Just reading the 'Angels and Demons' Cinefex article was quite painful. Then I tried watching a friend's download of it.

That studio owes me for my time.

The only movie I ever walked out on was Treasure of the Four Crowns.

But...but...but...it was 3d!

If I recall correctly, that one was so freakin cheap they couldn't even afford the entire four crowns. There are only two or three in the movie.

Wow, im sensing a lot of hate for this film since a few other members postedit as well. Im suprised, i thought it was a fairly good and quite enjoyable movie... at least it was a crapload better than that Da Vinci Code mess.

Okay, I may be hated for this but I have to say it.

2012

There, I said it. I did not like this movie at all, while the special effects were great, the story sucked. I didn't care about any of the main or secondary characters, the only character I truly cared about was the brother of the young chinese monk who snuck them onboard the ship.

This film was just a poorly written script used to showcase all the "fantastic" special effects. Special effects alone, don't make a film.

There were so many cliches in this film.

- A couple who are separated, with the husband being a loser and the wife as the proper, succesful parent.
- The mother always has custody, because she's the competant parent.
- A father whose alienated from his son (like we have'nt seen that before)
- The wife taking up with a wealthy proffessional guy
- The family coming together at the end, with the father and son reconciling.
- The single voice of reason in the government, who makes the standard heartfelt plea to save people and suceeds.
- Of course, we have to have the self-centered, egotistical, narcicistic government representative whose decisions are always wrong and will kill them all.
-The brave leader (president) who refuses to leave his "people" and dies as a hero.
- The wife's new boyfriend dying in heroic/grusome fashion, allowing the couple to be reunited.
-The group barely escaping one disaster after another.

I could go on, but I think that's enough. I'm sure you can come up with other examples.

What? It's a Roland Emmerich movie. Of COURSE it'll be crap and chock-a-block full of bad cliches that appear in ALL of his movies.

I don't know if it's the right title or not, i wanna say 'gods and monsters'...anyhow, the guy who plays dumbledore these days is a big shot in the british countryside and dies somehow. It's a period piece from the 1800's or so. I figured, it was nominate for the best picture oscar so it can't be too bad, WRONG. I figured, it was nomiated for an oscar it has to get better at some point. Nope. When done, i said 'there's 2 hours of my life that i'll never get back'...
