That's the right compass. Many makers and retailers made and sold the Verner's patent design.

You might need another shelf or smaller raised shelves within that one. Having to resort to taking objects out of their shelf to photograph them now.

Yes, the black band for the diary. I've been trying to get one of these for my diary but I'm not sure of the proper width,

Mine has an elastic band, but it's horizontal instead of vertical. It was vertical in the movie like Make Believe's picture there. I'd like to swap it out for a vertical one so I'd be curious as well which one's accurate and where I can get it.

This straps are going for some pennies in your next door household store. So I recommend to spare the shipping costs.
