Your Indiana Jones Displays - Lets see 'em

I don't have my Indy props on permanent display, but I took them out the other day to get a quick shot of them. Except for a whip and the ark, I feel like I have every iconic prop covered.

My Advintage Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones Grey Fedora has arrived (Clipper flight and Washington D.C. scenes). It's a little tight on my head (slightly smaller than the brown one I bought, 39 vs. 41).

Very nice, I also own a Advintage fedora, they are beautifully made. Remind me, is the clipper a custom one he makes, or a ready to go option?

This one was ready to go. You can get a grey one in the Last Crusade, Temple of Doom or Crystal Kingdom style as well.

I love TinTin ! I read the full Graphic Novel size format original stories in the mid 80's. These were huge comic books, not sure where to find this size now.

Thanks a lot MCINTOSH275. I'll look for one. I'll wear my things to work in the Indy style ;) The best thing is that only another collector would notice...

Hello, here are some pictures of my little space. Not happy with everything yet and there‘s still a lot to find and to make.

There are two manufactures of these bags;

MFH - model 30303B Website

Mil-Tec - UPC 4046872405280 Website

I own and have worked on both brands and prefer the MFH. I’ve also worked on original ones from WWII.

The MFH is built with far better material and hardware. The leather, canvas and vinyl are thicker and the hardware is stronger. MFH tends to change their canvas material in both color and weave with each batch. They let all vendors run out, then tool up for the next batch. If you are going to USE your bag or like high quality, definitely spend the extra money on this bag.
Here is MCINTOSH275’s MFH backpack with label and distressing.

The Mil-Tec is popular with WWII reenactment folks. If you are using the bag for display only or light duty you could save a few bucks buying this brand.

Some photos of various backpacks.
