Y-wing colors

[Less than Super Ostrich]

On the traditional yellow (gold) Y-wing, is there a little blue mixed in with the gray on canopy and sidewall of the cockpit? In some pics it looks like dark sea gray and in others I see a little blue-ish tinge.

I think the color actually varies some among the different models, but the bluish color seems to be close to Intermediate Blue in the Model Master line. There is one studio model that toured, which I think was made for ROTJ and had bluish-grey on the canopy and cockpit sides, with more of a sea-grey on the ribbed bands around the engine domes; but I think the ANH ones had the bluish grey in both places. That's just the result of me looking at photos, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

There is blue in there, most of it varies from pic to pic! It wouldnt surprise me if it was Stormy sea by Pactra they used, maybe grey mixed into it?

Hey Lee... I'm making good progress on the Y-wing repaint. I was interrupted when we had our Basement finished. And I've also been sidetracked by a nasty little thing called the xbox 360. Never mind the 4 kids too. I'm finally getting back on track with the Y-wing.
