Not really an update, but I'm preparing for starting on the arms, so I thought I'd see how it looked when put together so far. 6' 11" WITHOUT the stilts...The cord on the tail is roughly where the fishing line will be (otherwise it'll be taking out people, stalls and officials..) Oh, and. JAZZ HANDS!

That's the upper arm panels done. I'm going to add details on the in-betweeny parts with cord to make it look less... In-betweeny!

ARMS!!!! I took a tip from Batman and left sections between the panels to allow for movement. Hopefully it'll fit and work as I haven't tried it on yet......

Thought I'd try it on (sans tail). It's warm, but very light. And movement is pretty easy, too, surprisingly! I can;t wait until it's all done and I can wear the whole thing!!!

No real updates as of yet because I've been busy with other stuff, but this picture of Fluffy eating his breakfast should keep your appetites whetted for now....

I spent this evening fixing Fluffy's broken jaw. I also decided to wrap the teeth in aluminium tape! The pics don;t really do it justice, but they look like they're made from metal!!

So this is me standing next to Fluffy. (I'm the one on the left...) Anyway, he's on a 6 foot mannequin at the moment, so with me being a short arse, and making some small stilts, This is roughly the height he'll e! I just hope they let me into Con!! Just the legs and lower half to go now!

Here's tonight's update guys! I started the upper leg details this eve. Not sure how the lower will look as it'll have the stilt Support brace under it. Hmmmmmmm/ Problems or challenges..? I haven't decided yet...

Ok, here we go again! I kinda lost my mojo for a little while with this as life got in the way etc. etc. But I've started back on it now! So I have never been happy with the length of Fluffy's neck. It makes everything look out of proportion as it was too long. So I took a blade to the inside and hacked away, managing to bring the height down by about an inch and a half. It doesn't sound much, but it makes a hell of a difference as you can see, and it also means I don't need to make the stilts as high and therefore they should be more comfortable. I'll have to sort the neck out, add reinforcements and I need to cut more holes for vision, but I'm a bit more pleased now. Even though I'd still like to make the neck shorter, that would now mean I'd have to take the whole thing apart and I'm not about to go down that road!

FEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! Well, the start of them anyway. They're surprisingly comfortable. My biggest problem will be trying not to bash the head!

Slow progress at the moment, but I'm getting there!

UUUGGGH...Well I can't say I've enjoyed making this. 4th version of the feet and I finally came up with a comfortable design. Then came the "fleshing out" which seemed to take AGES!!! Ah well, that's one done now, and one to go. At least I now know what to expect from it and will be able to make the other one a bit faster. Then I can clean up the seams and detail them!
