X-Wing reference

I've been looking at many of the X-wings shown in many of the books and the images people have taken at The Art of Star Wars and other such shows. Since I'm new to paying much attention to the ships, I'm not exactly sure which X-Wings I'm seeing. I'm hoping someone can enlighten me to the identity of certain ships.

1) The X-wing at The Art of Star Wars exhibit. (did it change in different countries?)

2) From pages 108-109 of the book The Art of Star Wars: Episode 4

3) Pages 30-31 of From Star Wars to Indiana Jones

4) Page 112 from Chronicles

I'm looking for images of Red 5, but I don't know which I'm looking at.

Quality images of Red 5 are rare. there's a well-known set of 4-5 pics (sometimes included with the Capt Cardboard kit), but that's about it save for screen caps.

Check the Studio Scale forum for threads on ref pics of the X-Wing...
