Work in progress: The Alethiometer

Juno,

Great work and thread. I don't know what I'm more excited about, seeing your finished work or the news that the trilogy has been picked up for the feature film treatment.

Either way, this alethiometer will be a great dry run for the inevitable "screen accurate" one you'll be doing in a years time after movie is released.

BTW, I PM'd you concerning a Platform 9¾ Ticket.

Joe

I like how you made it your own somewhere in between the book and movie versions. ;)

Very elegant looking. :thumbsup

nice watch. uh, does it actually work?
[/b]

It sure does (although now it's not the easiest watch to tell time on). It's actually a wind-up watch (I have bought ones in the past that the gears were only for decorative purposes.
