'WonderWoman' Costume Changes After Fan Reactions

"... After Fan Reactions"... I doubt it. I think that it is more likely that they finally found out that nobody could run in those tight shiny pants and high heels. The big difference from the old costume is that the pants are in a stretchier fabric and the heels are lower.

When the new uniform first was posted - the redo that is - the actual article about it had someone from the show saying it had nothing to do with the fan reaction and that the shiny pants are still in it, as are the newer pants, and the short shorts, ala Lynda Carter WW.

I'm curious to see if NBC actually picks it up and if they do, if it lasts longer than 'The Cape'. :)

C'mon, the only reason guys will watch this show is because of the adolescent drool fest factor...I can see Larry sitting there now, making all sorts of Beavis and Butthead excitement noises......i don't have a beef with sexy ladies, but if that's the whole motivation to watching a show....well, i can't help but feel hollow.

No, that's the reason I'll START watching the show. Besides, it can't leave me any more hollow feeling than Smallville and I've been torturing myself with that show for ten seasons now :lol Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment... but I'm kind of OCD about the superhero genre (sub-genre?).

Believe me, if I can sit through a bootleg of the unreleased Justice League pilot tv episode with David Ogden Stiers as a fat, green Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman will be a pleasure to watch even if it's no better than The Cape. Besides, I usually have my ipod or laptop close by so I can always surf during slow points if I get bored enough. :p

I'm looking forward to it. I'm not so hung-up on the outfit; I just hope the stories are decent. I do like the actress playing WW. Seen her in a few things and she's ok. I'll give it a chance and hopefully it won't suck.

Not crazy about this version. Sounds like they stole Powergirls backstory too.

Actually, Wonder Woman is involved with Batman at this point, if I recall correctly. It was probably an 'Elseworlds' title where she married Supes.

Wonder Woman and Superman were a couple in Red Son, and secretly had a kid in Dark Knight Returns/Dark Knight Strikes Again.

Batman and Wonder Woman were getting together in the cartoon series.

Hard to believe anyone could complain over that outfit..

Anyways, here is an old comic clip showing the S&M tease is not new nor out of place.

You know, I look at the costume change, and it still doesn't do it for me. This just a cute girl in a WW costume.

Linda Carter wasn't about oozing sexuality or her boobs spilling over or showing her butt off. Linda Carter brought an elegance and class to the character that was beyond her age. It takes more than a pretty face to pull that off.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. The established character identity should not have been changed so much for a crap tv show. Smallville kept the essentials while creating enough for an ongoing story. Wonder Woman jettisoned it all out the window.
