Two months ago, while browsing aliexpress, i came across this interesting listing for a PVC TDK Cowl, for about $18 usd shipped

I said, why not? and bought it... weeks later found another auction but said it was made for kids...
Anyway, got it today, smaller than expected, but pretty good overall
You can find it on ebay searching for: "DC Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice Mask Batman Cosplay Wolves World for Kids" or similar terms
MOD EDIT: Please do not post ebay auction links, thanks.
Now onto the review:
First some background, Years ago i bought a Rubies mask wich i modified, but eventually i got from ebay a better mask, Urethane with a neck piece. Since i dont like the idea of using my good cowl for casual wear, i thought this one could be a good option
As you might expect, the mask was shipped on a small box and became warped during shipping, but no damage at all, i need to fix that eventually

I finally found a trademark (since the original auction didnt had any), "Wolves World". Cant find more information with a quick google search though... Material is indeed some kind of PVC Rubber or Vynil, smells different than the rubies (wich i think is Vynil), and not Urethane or Latex at all.

Nose holes are filled, so i had to cut them and some trimming is necessary everywhere, but nothing major for a mass production piece

Now, some comparisons pictures, left is Urethane, Right is Rubies. Btw, i use styrofoam female heads, with a rigid plastic mask, to add some bulk and a better chin

The mask is indeed small, but not child sized i beleive. The sculpt is very good, sharp lines and good detailing, unlike the Rubies. Inside the mask, ears are hollow, smooth walls due to the injection molding
I can say the PVC mask is about 10% smaller than the rubies, and perhaps 20-30% smaller than my Urethane mask. I believe my head size is about 23-24 inches (for the record, my Arkham Origins mask fits like a glove)
With a spandex balaclava, my nose fills the mask just fine, no problems breathing once i cut some holes, eyebrows no problems at all, and ears a little tight. I dont know how long ill be able to wear it though
Overall, is a pretty neat and cheap mask, specially if you have a smaller head. Im gonna sell the Rubies and use this instead from time to time. Just wish there was more info available for this budget option!

(Right is my urethane cowl, years ago)
