Wolverine Claw Question (Could this work?)

Hey all. Got an idea for Wolverine Claws. If it's in the wrong section, I apologize ahead of time! I also apologize if this has already been discussed.


So, here's the idea. What if I made the claws in the the style of an OTF Knife with a locking mechanism(push a button, and they shoot out, push the button, and they retract). This would be strapped to the arm

But here's the kicker

Then, if I made a latex glove (Ala SPFX/CFX) of my arm, and covered it. That way it gives the illusion of the blades not being there, then coming out of my skin. Would this work? I guess the best way to find out would be trial and error, but I'm just curious if it would be a good idea or not. Thank you, you guys! I really do appreciate all the help I've been given on this forum so far. :thumbsup

I was thinking about that, luckily I have the tiniest forearms on the planet! I kinda changed it around after your comment though. Instead of gloves that go all the way up my arm, I'd just go a glove of my hand, and have all the mechanics on my forearm (Like the Hidden Blade) and have the leather jacket cover it
