If you are ever looking for JUST an "LED" control type of effect, that you want to interact/change things form your PHONE..
Using WLED is 10000% easy to use/install as well (requires NO code)
Summary:
Buy an ESP32 board.
Plug it into PC via USB cable
Open Browser/end point location (url)
Hit 'install'.
At that point (you can you select to connect to your local/home wifi,, where the WLED installed app on your phone will find it, and show display the interface).. if no WIFI, you can directly access the board via phone, and open your browser to see the interface)
not just colors, but animations/patterns..etc.
