Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

antman84 Yeah, I am keeping with the story. If it is anything "Wolverine" I usually stick with it to the bitter end. haha
My main issue with it is:
Right after Sabretooth beats him up and he goes back to the X-Mansion and says he is done being Wolverine and then next issue he is back in the costume and it does not seem like he took a noticeable amount of time off from being Wolverine, but the series is on going and we may see a flash back that better fills in that gap. That is mainly what I meant when I said losing his healing really doesn't change him much, which can be good and bad.

Yeah ah I see what you mean his role seems to change with series to series. Savage wolverine is a better read at the moment

It's just my opinion of course, it is still a decent read the character development just isn't there. I will have to check out Savage Wolverine, does he still have his healing factor in that?

Yeah savage wolverine is set in different eras and each arc is a standalone non connected story

I think wolverine max is the most disappointing wolverine story I've read

You guys do know they are planning on killing him off, right? They're just building it up.

You guys do know they are planning on killing him off, right? They're just building it up. And speaking of continuity, I love how fanboys say their isn't any continuity in the movies when it is MUCH worse in the comics.

@antman84 Yeah, I could not agree more with Wolverine Max being disappointing. I thought it was decent ( I use that loosely haha,), but it should have been way better with Wolverine being in Japan. haha
This illustrates my point with the whole "Wolverine loses his healing story" has been done to death. This Video contains spoilers from the comics!
@comonbub I heard rumors about Scarlet Spider killing him by cutting his heart in half, but I have not seen that happen yet. If they kill him, it will be a comic book death which means he won't really die. ;) I could not agree more about the continuity thing! Everybody usually changes something whether it be comics, movies, T.V. shows, or video games.
BTW, does anyone know why Wolverine's heart is so important to his healing? Like in The Wolverine they put the bug in heart to slow his healing and the only thing that stops him is that posined arrow through the heart. In the Weapon X comic they talk about his heart rate is higher than expected. There are more examples of this, but it may just be because his heart is a vital organ. I just always thought his heart and heart rate had something to do with his healing factor.

Saw TWS tonight and the 2nd trailer for DOFP...At the end of it, some fanboy yelled, '**** movie'...I proceeded to turn around with this look on my face. 85lz0.jpg

Absolutely....I was counting down to that as well......

Looks like one hell of a movie....And perhaps we can get enough shots from that for clearer ideas about the clothing?

I can't bloody wait! And happily, Japan seems to have noticed that superhero movies outsell everything else on offer when they release, and instead of waiting a half year to release them here, now is down to about a month! Which is more than reasonable! Spiderman (Although that's Sony, so was released here earlier anyway), Captain America, and the X-Men all look like they're coming to Japan within a couple of months...

I'm happy!

Was not too impressed with the final trailer...Wolverine knows Quicksilver? More continuity issues...Whatever, they've completely written off Origins with Quicky's cameo. I'd also like to know why the hell the professor is walking and how (if that's his astro projection) was able to physically punch magneto?

@fifthchamber,Yeah, we get a few more shots of the jacket and shirt. I'm glad they get to Japan in reasonable time! X-Men keeps looking better and Captain America was great!

No...Wolverine from the future would know them all...No?

And yeah, why the professor is able to walk at one point, and is sitting down in the next is a bit odd.....Maybe he can walk, but just enjoys pranking the school by pretending and getting them to wheel his arse about?

I'm with fifth, it doesn't seem to be a continuity issue at all. All the surviving mutants would be fighting the sentinels together. So I can buy Wolverine knowing Quicksilver.

Quickie would be an old man at that point and the average joe is gonna think well he wasn't in any of the other movies so how does wolverine know him?

I see your point, but honestly there is so much time where Wolverine could have met him, maybe it will be explained in the movie. Also, QS is younger than Xavier and Magneto and they are still kicking in the future. Maybe Wolverine remembers freeing QS from the 3 mile island. I know that Origins will probably be rewritten due to this movie, but future Wolverine should be about to remember that if he remembers 1973 at all.

Nah, I still don't see it......Wolverine from the future is one of the last remaining X-Men, as such, he'd have known, or seen, or come into conflict with, all the others.....That's the end of it....The "average joe" will assume that as well, if they even give that much notice to it..(They won't..."Average joe" doesn't tend to notice things like that...."We" do...We're nuts...But even then, Wolverine, at the age he is? Will have seen them all at some point, and that's not a huge leap of faith..)

The Professor walking is.....That's a larger issue...And we won't know that until we see the film...But I'm sure they've thought about that...And have a reason for it...Singer's not that thick..And I've been impressed about the overall direction he's pushed this film in..

I'm interested in Xavier walking. What bothers me is Origins and DOFP is both in the 70's and William Stryer is way younger in this than what we saw him in Origins.

If this writes off Origins, then I think it'd be cool to have some sort of plot twist as to why he lost his memory in the first trilogy due to him going in the past.

Yeah...I don't think they're going back over it to retread, but just "sidestepping" the movie....Saying "yeah, it happened, but maybe not EXACTLY like he seems to have remembered it"...If you see what I mean?

Just pretending it's not exact....Just a blurred fuzz of what actually happened....LOL.....
