Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

On a side note. It looks to me like the pattern on his shirt is inspired by a peacock feather. See some examples:

Another possibility would be to have the fabric printed and then have some shirts made. I could reproduce the pattern and colors but I don't know anything about getting fabric made and don't have any contacts to get the shirts made. Plus we would have to have several people on board in order for it to be affordable.

It reminded me of peacock feathers as well, I'm glad I'm not alone. That is a good idea with possibly trying to get them custom made. I wonder if indy magnoli would do it, it would make sense because it would go with the belt. The only thing is his shirts are kind of high. I don't know much about getting shirts or fabric made either. If we could get a "group rate" from some vendor,if there was enough interest, that would be great!

The footage is on YouTube, hopefully it doesn't get taken down. http://filmonic.com/watch-6-featurettes-going-behind-scenes-x-men-days-future-past

The 70's Men's Pattern could do it? I think it's about right...Two breast pockets, maybe you could form the back seam in a way somewhat closer to the jacket as well..Since we haven't seen that as yet?
Might work rather well actually.....

Oh! Guys! I know some of you have already jumped on and helped me with this? But I could REALLY use the Wolverine group's support here.....I'm trying to win an Indy competition with a photo I took a while back here in Tokyo....The lead is about 350 or so....I'm on 320 or thereabouts....So I could use whatever help you can throw in?

Thanks guys....Seriously...

Here's the thread link....

There is a shot of the back of the shirt in the X-Men: Days of Future Past Featurette - Bryan's Passion at :19 to :20 seconds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qZmABH1sxg#t=20). However, it isn’t high quality, here’s the shot.

So, using the back seam on the jacket is a great idea! We could wait until the blu ray comes out, so we get more detail though. If we get this shirt made that would open up the possibility of maybe getting some other Wolverine shirts made!
Anyway, good luck on the contest Fifth! I looked through some of the other entries and none of them looked as great as yours. I saw one that had about 1000 and it wasn't really that impressive in my opinion. It looked like a Indy Beach selfie. haha

Yeah.. Kyle is a mate, we suspected one dude (mustached dude in a field) of cheating by paying for Facebook likes.. So Kyle did the same thing to see if it was possible.. It is.. Sadly, then the company changed the rules of the entry so that we need two votes really.. One for us and one for the company.. Which I think is a bit silly... But.. Cheaters be cheating so.. I guess it makes sense....

JIMMY CLAWS Wolverine Claws X-Men The Last Stand Extended Fight Sequence X3
"Vinnie Jones Set"

Vinnie Jones played Juggernaut in X-Men 3. Juggernaut confronts Wolverine and Wolverine stabs him in the left arm with his claws from underneath. The three points of this claw set are poking out of Juggernaut's arm and screen used in X-Men: The Last Stand, as shown in the Special Features - Extended Fight Sequence At Jean Grey's House.

This set of claws was put under the costume with copperwire to shape the correct configuration. The final action part of scene is rendered by computer.

Note: Backup Short Claws With Extra Copper Included. Long Claws Screen Used.

From X-3, I call this the "Vinnie Jones set" this was used when Wolverine stabs
Juggernaut in the arm. The copper wires were shaped to his arm and placed under the costume, then the blades were slipped over the wires so you see 3 tips poking thru the arm. This was worn by Vinnie Jones and filmed in front of the "Jean Gray House"

So I'm gonna get that temporary white hair spray and go as old man logan on opening night. minus the body armor and suit because well....ain't nobody got time for that.

comonbub, I agree it would be time consuming and we really don't have enough detail to make a SA suit. Great idea with the hair spray, you could couple that with a Compression Shirt (Navy, blue, or that kind of yellow color on the accents), some tactical looking pants, gloves, boots, and to top it all off some The Wolverine claws. It wouldn't be at all screen accurate, but I bet it would look cool and is probably the best at the moment. I bet we could find some gloves, boots, and pants that are similar. I toyed with this idea myself. I would like to see this suit made and I'm sure it will be after the movie.

Forget the spandex, I"ll just go comic style...Wearing the b3 bomber coat i could never sell in the junkyard with with weathered jeans and something else...Though it may get really hot..............

That suit is nice! I wish I made it up there to ECCC this year. So has anyone looked into the Marvel NOW suit? Seems simple, black fabric and EVA covered with yellow fabric as the side/arm armor

Is the armor suit that Spider-Man made him because he lost his healing factor the one you guys are talking about?
Wolverine Now!.png
I'm not a avid comic reader, but I have followed this storyline and to be honest it was okay in the beginning, but now I'm losing interest. I am starting to HATE storylines where Wolverine loses his healing, because it has been done some many times and it really doesn't add a lot to the charter because some how he still survives and quickly recovers from injuries that would normally kill people, the injuries just last a little longer. Like in The Wolverine, you start to notice his wounds are starting to heal and the cuts on his face completely disappear in record time. But, that is all just my 2 cents, it's just fiction after all. LOL I like the suit though.
