Yeah... I like my OLF, but it is very much "fashion leather". It breaks in beautifully and smells wonderful - but I only wear it rarely. Taking the wife out to dinner or to a play? It's very comfortable, but I wouldn't count on it riding. It's a nice mall jacket.

And, I gotta wonder... What is is about me and weird sizing SNAFU's? Bates makes me a burka (sp?) and when Milos took a first pass at the jacket above? The sleeves were cut to 40" (as measured like a dress shirt). They hung 5 inches past my finger tips. LMFAO...

Common - Yep, same exact combo as Patterson's and that armored XO.
Hey enerv - I was planning on it, then my little brother decided to get hitched the same weekend! So briefly I was trying to swing going down still for D-Con and flying back for the wedding, but the logistics were impossible to make work within reason. So sadly I will be missing D-Con this year, first time in the past four years.
I will be out in force at NYCC though in October. Full booth and a heck of a display for folks to fondle.

This whole time I was trying to figure out what the heck "OLF" meant! Now I know . I was never really a fan of the X3, but man thats a good looking jacket Patterson! I saw a guy in San Francisco wearing one a few weeks back. It definitely blends into the crowd a little more than the X2 out of the box.
Thanks for all these pics! Hopefully I'll have my heron X2 this week and will post pics for sure.
Also extremely cool to know that Vanson's can be ordered with Armor! I dont have a bike yet, but when i get one that will definitely justify my ordering another wolvie jacket. Very cool!

Where is Dragoncon anyways? Never thought I'd say that I was interested in going to a con considering I was a jock in high school but it's kinda growing on me hahaha. Also Dan, I've noticed you've got piping going on around the very end of the sleeve on the suede. I thought you said you couldn't get that done because of the sleeve closure? Well that's what I remember from the X1 discussion anyways..
