Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Not yet because I need to submit all the details, like the thickness and chains, so that is why I am asking if there are any concerns at this point.

Once I have the quote, I'll let all here know that I started a topic in the JY. I am going to accept pre-orders in order to help me fund the project and also to ensure there is enough justification to do a run (so any word of mouth would help too). Once I have a decent amount of pre-pays, I'll place the order. It usually takes me two weeks from that point to get the items and then about another week till they reach the buyer.

Should for some reason this project not generate enough interest, I'll refund payments about 30 to 45 days after I first start taking them.

Well I will say this, I sold my BSG tags for $25 a set... and that was two tags in a set, and it included US shipping.

Hopefully no more than that, but I also do not know if steel is more expensive or any differences in production and set up costs. Lots of variables.

You bet.

BTW: Sorry if I stalled the general discussion here. In an attempt to get other things discussed, I wanted feedback on Heron's XO jacket. I'm really liking the design but i know that Heron had some sleeve issues with some of their jackets like the X2 which they have since corrected. Are there any outstanding issues with their XO?

I think Jorge is wanting to use thicker leather that fits the bill moreso than the fashion leather he's been using thusfar. I think the cuffs and the respective gussets need to be tweaked to match. I'm looking foward to the X3 repro that is the wings to be made as well, using a lighter colored leather from the X2, roughly like the X1/XO but having an oil pull effect.

Can we get a pic of the Heron XO? I've never seen it before I don't think. And the 20 dollar range ain't bad at all for X1 tags. I got my X0 tags for a lot more than that -_____- Interested.

Question guys i wonder what my Heron X2 would fetch all weathered up as it currently is? Think i could get what i paid for it? Id like to sell it and buy the most recent heron X2 with all the correct details and a better fit. Opinions?

I would say you probably could get $250 ish for it Rock, I will be completely honest though if i was in your situation the suttle changes that Jorge is making wouldnt warrant me selling my Jacket to get another one. They seem like huge changes BUT the average person that sees you with the jacket on isnt going to notice anything we are stating in this thread.

MJF I Am also for sure in on the Tag run, I dont want one I NEED one!! If they turn out anything like your BSG run they will be amazing!

So should I wait for Heron to improve upon their X0 before I get one?

RE Tags: I believe I will make the thickness .063". That would be exactly twice as thick as a real tag.

We still havent seen any close up pictures of the XO from Heron to dissect yet. I say we wait to see real pictures cause I am actually interested in the XO myself too!

I thought someone here just received one and was going to put up pictures?
wheres the pictures ! :cry

oh no... I wish I was a much more efficient vacuum. :lol

This is of no help but I thought it was semi-related. I've been looking for a way to have the Wolvie chops that appear real, but inexpensive, so I found an eBay auction for a theater quality Abe Lincoln beard that was woven on to the back of mesh, so it tapered and had a realistic hairline. So I cut the beard in half and trimmed it accordingly:

Disregard the hat, as it is to cover my non-Wolvie doo, and the boots as my Fryes are at the shop to be resoled.

and one for the facebook. :lol

Dude, that hat and all nails the comic wolvie down to a T! You really can't tell you got short hair with the hat on.
