Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Anybody else like the soundtrack to the new movie? I love the "Where To" track.

It's THE best piece of music on the album...Agreed....If I listen to the album, that's always first, then I'll let it play while I'm doing other stuff.....Brilliant song....I used it on my drive through Shinjuku along the same route Wolverine goes when I videoed it and put it up on Facebook..Brilliant piece...

Indy told me yesterday that once Magnoli Clothiers starts this work again, both the X-1 and X-O versions will be available. He didn't say when the belts would be added to the on-line catalog unfortunately bub.

Yeah, ah well...Good to see they'll be made by the new guy as well...I'm lucky, I managed to get one of Wade's last pieces of work when he made my X0 belt for me..So I'm all good...But if anyone else wanted one, it's cool that Magnoli will be keeping those going..

Don't know if you noticed, but the "Where To" track used in the movie credits differs slightly from the one released on itunes. I prefer the movie version a little more because of the better usage of instramentals...It's very, Eastwood to me.

Yes, although until it's released, I can only make do by boosting the album version louder to get close....It was my friend Masami's favourite too, because she said it has "a more oriental feel" (in Japanese ”もう少し日本っぽいから”), so I got into it because of that...

I know that the boots have been covered before, but has anyone found and bought any good "close enoughs" for any of the boots from X-O to X-3?
Oh and the soundtrack is great!

I'm gonna see if I can rip that part of the score out of the credits using movie maker. I'll see what I can get...

Shouldn't be hard just have to figure out how. Will do. I also found this vid...They really fooled me on the scenary between what was real and what was CG. They did a pretty good job considering the CG mess we got in Origins.

The XO boots are engineer boots with a very rounded off toe. The X3 boots are harness boots with a squared off toe. I'd start with Frye. Got both pairs of my boots from there and they are the closest match I could find.

Today I got the chance to buy a cheap belt that had similar elements like the X1 belt.
Though there are plenty of nickel grommets / rivets I liked the look ans the similarity.

There was also a brown one but the original really looks dark brown or even black.

As you can see I also own the Indian Head Belt Buckle. Since it was a present I guess it was made by Magnoli Clothiers.
I am not sure if this is the X0 or X1 finish mentioned on their website:

Besides the color I recognized a "huge" difference in the size of the original movie version.

The movie version look muchs bigger (same with the belt width) - I mean taller and especially flatter.
I would even dare to say it looks cheaper and fragile! :angel

Are there are replicas you know that are similar to the movie size or is it just an illusion?

S'funny... That's My Buckle With Blue Headband BUB! :lol The headband should be green. My X0 buckle isn't screen accurate.
Indy's buckles definitely are fantastic from the looks of 'em! SNIKT

My buckle isn't a made by Magnoli Clothiers BUB!

These buckles are looking great, the quality has really stepped up from earlier replicas. A couple of points... I've been doing these so long, I'm not sure what my original reference is, but I always thought the headband was green. Also, there is a "V" or "U" design on the tips of the feathers that you can see in many of the original photos. Here is a not-so-great shot of my personal buckle where you can, at least, see this detail:

DevilsTrap, I definitely like the dirtied feathers better, excellent natural looking patina!

Kind regards,
Magnoli

Got the two jackets sent over! Absolutely stunned by them both!

The first, Logan's Closet X0, distressed and coloured by Dan on medium weight hide...Heavy, but not as heavy as my X1, and easier to move in as well...Which I (and Dan) agreed would be a wiser choice this time out!

The back

Trying it on for the first time...Only the beard to shave now?

The X-Men 3 jacket....I'd not expected quite as much impact from this one, but dayum..Was I wrong..

Hanging up..

Trying it on...Holy crap..That's two stunning jackets in one day...Dammit!

Oh, and just "because"...This ALSO came in today..Heh...

Warm regards all..

Oh! And since I was interested, so I guessed some of you might ALSO find it interesting, I asked Dan to send over progress shots as he went, and the process slowly progressed...Amazing to see it all unfold...

It's so gorram cold outside a good jacket would rock, but I still don't have a response from Heron. I sent a tenth email. I give up after that.

Fifth, Those are both awesome. The is X-O is impressive, but that's expected. haha The X-3 is really impressive, considering it isn't a Vanson or OLF, whoever made it did great!

super drool and comonbub, thanks for the boot info.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm gettin inpatient for the new trailer. haha

superDrool: I am always amazed at your knowledge of the Wolverine character, thanks for sharing with all.
