Hi guys! I'm new here (just introduced myself in the general thread), but I'm loving what I see on this forum!
The first thread I opened was this one: wow, Usurper, great stuff!!
Lee both the head and the neck look badass, congrats on finally finishing the sculpts and I'm looking forward to them casted up, maybe it will motivate me to finish my headpiece sculpt.
My materials will be here end of the week, wooohooo.
looking at wolf its now not clear to me the best place to put the seem line, if anyone has any thoughts on this PLEASE PLEASE post.
ive took a quick shot below on my thoughts.
BLUE is where i have done my seem lines in the past on the dred ridges, but as wolf has spikey ridges im not sure how easy it would be to trim in between them.
Is the RED lines to far down the head? the thinking on this was to hide the seem below the 1st row of dreds.
YELLOW ( in my head ) seems to be the best option, ill just have to take time seeming to keep the line as invisible as possible.
I'd follow the red line up the nexk and then change over direction to the blue line and go around the spikes, should make it easier to release from the mold rather than having dred holes to contend with all the way around.
My Wifes only day off this week was yesterday and the courier didnt come, im not off till satuarday so its not looking like i can get them to redeliver until monday , when shes off again., i however am back in work then
That blows mate...Who'd you order from? I rarely use Tiranti's now as they can't rpovide me with the stuff I need as much as they used to...Still get a few bits from them now and again.
