Like I said before, this is definitely going to be the Year of the Predator. Especially with kick-ass mask sculpts like Usurper's and others!!!

Well, I feel like a parrot by doing this, because it has all been said... but here we go again: Congratulations on this outstanding sculpt of yours!!!
You know, when I first saw the lumpy beginnings of this thread last month I had some doubts it would turn out the fine, detailed piece you finally brought to life... but that only shows that I´ve still much to learn when it comes to sculpts in progress.
I´m still in research & pic-collecting phase and plan giving sculpting a Pred-head a try sometime later this year, but I´m pretty sure it will take me much longer than you (2 months, right?).
So, kudos to you for that as well!
I´m curious, do you plan on taking pictures of the molding? I´m asking this because of the mandibles, they are in place already and require some... creative thinking regarding the mold-lines, I would guess. Oh boy, the longer I stare at the pic and try figuring it out, the closer the headache comes...

Im glad some of you guys like it. if i hadnt stumbled across this place i would never have attempted to sculpt anything probably, so me doing this is a testiment to this place and the talent here that inspired me to start sculpting, i suppose its also maybe because im gettin stubborn as i get older and will just sit and fiddle till im happy with something.
if you remember i said at the start if i wasnt happy i would bin the sculpt, well im pretty happy, its not film accurate but its as good a attempt as i think i could do at present.
Timmmy, sculpt has taken about 7 weeks, which im happy with as i do shift work for 7 days or nights at a time, so im happy with the speed this came together. the lower mandibles will be cut off and molded seperately, not a problem at all
Keith ,RE EMAIL. i said above the teeth havent been touched and IM GOING TO MAKE THEM OUT OF SCULPEY to mold from , which will alter their shape/size.

Looking again at the teeth, ive decided im going to keep them roughly the same shape and size.
as per 1st pic below.
I prefer this look rather than some of the pictures ive seen of the movie mask, pic 2 for instance, the teeth along with his chin just dont sit right with me. they seem to overpower his face.

I can't wait till you get payed to see this in the plaster. I love seeing molds. Great Work as always Lee, you just keep getting better and better. I can't wait to see the next master piece come to life. Pumpkinhead HINT HINT
i know i said i wouldnt post any more pics but heres a quicky of the teeth.
I couldnt be botherd finishing the neckring as its the end of the week ( 6 out of 7 night shifts done ) and im too tired.
teeth are virtually ready ( minor sanding in places ) to be molded as you can see, and the inner teeth are slightly longer, but can be cut down if you prefer the shorter look, like i do.

hi LEE,i like tht look with the inner teeth's length jus fink neednt cut it shortly!!
