no then i would have jumped into one of the tanks .. i was at the camden aquarium in jersey :D and i stuck my arms in tanks that i was not even aloud to put my arms in to pet things .... there is something wrong with me... i view sharks like they are cuddly puppies

We went to Seaworld a few years back. Feeding the stingrays was pretty cool.

On topic: Love the costume. Gonna be a NYCC? If so, I'd love a pic with you, if you won't mind crossing over to Marvel and confronting Dr. Doom! :p

HOLY CRAP I WILL LOVE THAT! seriously that goes for all of you i was so upset one year i went to philly wizard world comic con, and all these people that follow my threads came to me on the internet after the fact instead of approaching me in person! i promise i will not kill any of you or transmit any kind of monkey disease like in outbreak by breathing on you lol ... i wanna get photos with all of you guys so we can share them here and have memories of the times we met in person ! we talk enough on the forum haha so please come right up and tell me who you are or ... throw a hotdog at the back of my head or something

BTW, I saw your skeleton makeup on your FB page. Very bad*ss! That looks like how they do some of Rob Zombie's band for live shows.

hahaha DAMMIT now i need to make a witchblade hot dog umbrella and have to explain it to people taking video footage .... "yea here is my witchblade armor ...and umbrella .... to avoid incoming hotdogs " guess you guys will see me as the cops haul me off in a straight jacket! .... AND THANKS .. i had a lot of fun with that makeup ... i will actually go post it up in the makeup section of the rpf so everyone can check it out

Hey guys I was taking a witchblade portrait test tonight with my new camera .. it is a pentax k-5 and although it looks it I DID NOT use the flash ... and it is unfortunate that it looks that way ... i was told i need to lower my cameras iso settings .. i do not have photoshop but in the event i pull a shot like this again, is it possible i can calm it down and make it look normal in the editor gimpshop? .. is anyone familiar with it .. i normally use it to just crop pictures with too much background noise ( i am not a photoshop mage :< )

Hey, good looking photo. If there is some over exposure you can correct it on photoshop by adjusting exposure or brightness (Image->Adjust If I remember right).

Also you should set your camera settings to tell you if there is any burned pixels in the photo (usually represented with flashing pixels over those zones after shooting).

Curious. What was the mode dial on and what was the ISO set to?

All the exif data is gone from the photo so I cant see what the settings were at.

If I had to guess it looks like you were lying down and the light source was maybe a lamp and the main light was off. Couple this with maybe exposure compensation dialed up a little could make you skin blow out. The light falloff is huge which makes me think why your surrounds are dark unless you have applied a vignette later. Oh, and the white balance can obviously effect skin tone. One last Q, was the shot in JPEG or RAW?

i have no idea what the iso was set to D: sorry :< this camera is VERYYY new to me ... so imagine an alien handed a camera to a caveman .. i am caveman! i can tell you that the photo was shot in raw though! :> .... when i get home i am probably going to try n find some gimpshop tutorials online just to figure out that program a bit :>

If you took the photo in raw, you're lucky. Just use the exposure adjustment on gimp or photoshop and ready. If the photo is in jpeg... sorry but when you try to recover the skin, weird colors will appear.

on photoshop CS6 go to Image->Adjustements->Exposure

Oh, and the ISO settings where not the problem. If the ISO too high the speed should have been increased and problem solved. It was a light measurement problem, the light sensor was cheated by the dark/light mix.

Next time try to light the place first, then adjust manually the camera for this light and take as many photos as you want without touching anything as long as light and your distance to it doesn't change.

thank you and so are you!!!! hey! i wanted to contact you on facebook lol i might end up having to be in a wheel chair for a bit after intense back surgery and if i am then i am commissioning you for a shark tail ! i will let you know how bad it is when surgery happens :D

D'aww thank you! Woah, as freaking awesome as a shark tail would be I sure wish you weren't looking at having to have surgery. That completely sucks.

yeah..... it is what it is .. ill get better .... and if worse comes to worse ill make an awesome shark for a few months lol.....it is easier to explain you just got a sharkoplasty rather than why you are all beat up
