I have a current project that the base is wire that sits against the skin. I plan on bending the ends backwards to help with preventing scratches. Any suggestions on what else I can wrap/coat the wire base, or just the bent ends, with to aid in further preventing scratches? Think of a wire band on a wrist with other things attached via more wire, but the attachments will covered in other materials and stick out away from the body. Not entirely accurate, but I don't want to give too much away for now. I don't want to use rubber or latex. Thoughts, please.
