Grey Primer to start. Then I used Dupli-color Metalcast Metallic Ground Coat as the base. You can usually find it at Autozone, etc.

Then I applied a black wash over the entire surface, wiping with a rag as I went. Then, I hit the highlights with some silver Rub-n-Buff.

Pretty simple, but it seems to work.:lol

Thanks John! Sometimes the simplest process brings the best results. It looks just like the movie piece which is what is so great about your paint job (Yeah I rewatched the movie last night just for... research... and I looked at the triangle again).
