WIP My first female portrait sculpt - (Leeloo) Milla Jovovich V. 2.0 pg. 11

Hi guys,
My wife commissioned me to do this sculpt since she's a big fan of this actress.
It's still in the very early stages of the sculpt, but hopefully it can be recognizable to some folks.

I started this while I was in my dorm during my equipment operator course.
The pose has been reworked at least 4 times now until I got back Friday and my wife showed me exactly what she wanted.

My wife is really excited to get the hair and makeup work done once I mold and cast it. Once someone guesses correctly, I will need some constructive criticism since it is my first attempt at a female sculpt.

Wow, that was quick!

Yep, it's supposed to be Milla and my wife thought of the pose that could go for many of her characters.
However, she wants to do this as leeloo first since she's really into the orange hair.

Again, any critiques are welcomed since I need all the help I can get.

I was all ready to have a guessing contest. But we didn't need to. VERY obvious who it is!

Here's a couple more shots, maybe someone can chime in on what can be improved.
Again, I'm a novice at female sculpture, so I would love some input.

I'll try to take some profile shots and post it as well, since I've been struggling with how the neck/shoulders should be.

The only thing I could think of is perhaps making her neck a slight bit longer, but nothing much. Other than that I have nothing that I think needs improving.

Man, I think you have a superb likeness there. I can easily see Leeloo once you have the details in. Or Alice or Ultraviolet for that matter.

I was thinking longer neck as well, but after lookin' at dozens and dozens of Milla pics...ahem, to compare of course....I'd say you got it right! No need for more improvement,
she's gonna look awesome painted up!

Great capture! I think Milla is the best of the female action heroes. I can't say why but she has never made me question her dangerous abilities.:cool
