I'm torn between a few freddy glove makers and I was just wondering what some of you have to say about the different gloves floating around.I'm looking for a hero Freddy part 1 glove.Pictures of your replicas would be great too.

Thanks

I recommend Dreamgloves.com

Ross has done gloves for some pretty picky folk and they were satisfied. I own a pair myself.

He'll do any style glove too. I have the original but I've been eying the VS. glove A LOT!

I think it depends on which film really. Boiler Room Creations does the best Freddy's Dead glove:

I think they put a little too much curve in the back plate but that's easy enough to fix.

CustmCraft on you tube make one HELL of a great remake glove. They were making them out of steel aged to look copper color via rust and man that is a slick piece for roughly $200

Anders over at Nightmaregloves does a great VS glove though his New Nightmare glove is probably some of his BEST work incorporating a silicon or latex skin with veins.

Dreamgloves.com does have a VS glove on their site buuut it's a prototype. Looks great so far though.

For about $120 or so I got an Auzorann part 1 glove using blades from Knifegloves.com and it's really very effective, especially at screeching on copper pipes like in the movies:

Now if you want THE best part 1 glove then go to Kruegear.com but expect to pay the price for what I think is the most accurate part 1 replica I've ever seen.

I am interested in a part 1 glove. Thanks for the info guys.

Maybe it's my browsers, but Kruegear.com is really hard to read. The blood spatter effect on site covers a lot of the text and makes it difficult to read. Not good site design in my opinion. Nightmare gloves' site, on the other hand, is really nice. Very professional. If site design is any indicator of the quality of the replicas, then I would go with Nightmaregloves.com

Although I didn't really enjoy the most recent film in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, I found the new style of glove to be very well done. NECA makes a very well made replica of the glove for anywhere around $50-$80 depending on whom the seller is.

I found a few pics in my photobucket of my Part 1 glove.

To my knowledge this is even the correct leather glove.

If you're looking for a Part 1 glove, check out Razorgloves.com
Chris is a great guy to deal with. He is in the process of making a Resurrection Part 1 glove that will be one of the most accurate out there. Mark at Knifegloves.com is also making a very good Resurrection glove.
Travis at Kregear makes what is reputed to be the best out there. He has disappeared and resurfaced numerous times. He is in the process of making good on past orders and will be holding a lottery for his Part 1 gloves next spring....Very eccentric. Watch his videos on youtube...

I'm liking all the responses and there are very talented glove makers out there.I really thought picking a glove out was gonna be easy but man was i wrong :wacko.

Does anyone own this guys work? I'm liking but I'm not sure if it's the videos that I like :lol

nightmare gloves is an excellent glove maker. I know Anders there pretty well and his is one of the best. I know that Robert Englund gets a lot of his gloves for promotional events from there. Right now Kruegear is using their old site they used to have but you can see his work on youtube. I would say that as great as his glove is, I don't know that you would be able to get one. He usually has a waiting list and does very few per year. He had access to the actual screen used glove from the private owner though so I would say that if you want perfect, he's got it...for a price.

I wouldn't recommend it. It's actually aluminum plated with copper. It's a nice piece though for what it is when you compare it to NECA's Vs glove XD

Pm sent BTW this it the Pt1/2 that i make.

THAT is an excellent piece! How much do you ask for those?

i need to find mine I made back when the first movies came out. copper tubing and stainless steel blades , was a good and easy project..should try making you one.

Well if we are all voting, I would have to say NIGHTMARE GLOVES, Anders make killer ones, they are very neat, they are not just cut out, they are trimmed , every corner rounded, weld is fantastic, only problem they are sharp as hell!!! I suppose you can ask for them unsharpened.
here shown my Freddy Versus signed by Robert and Anders on the inside.
Weathered , very nicely,
Other problem.... the guy is so busy making these , there is a waiting time of about 2 months!

I'll have to grab some new pics of my glove. I don't remeber who made it but I heard he went back to college. I think it was Top Hat or Top Shelf or something along those lines. Anyway I don't think he is in business anymore. I love my glove though.

Anders makes a pretty good Vs. glove. There are others stateside that are just as good or better (most already mentioned here). Wait times are an issues with him.

If it helps, head over to springwoodslasher.com or Nightowl forums. Both good sources for gloves....
