Any Idea How to Make a Piezo System for a Gun, that When you Pull the Trigger is Makes a Pre-Recorded "Pew," Sound.

So, the title pretty much says it all.

I have a fake gun, and I would like for it to make a pre-recorded sound of a child saying, "Pew!" everytime I pull the trigger.
I would like the trigger pull to be the energy that powers the sound system.

Pull the trigger, gun says, "Pew!"

Any ideas?

Just like shoes that light up when you step, only a brief, pre-recorded sound.

There are a number of ways to do this. How much space do you have? A gun can range from a derringer to an M60 in size. Also, how loud do you want it to be? Do you want to run on rechargeable batteries or disposable?

It can definitely be done, but it's hard to make a recommendation without a little more information.

An Adam Strange laser pistol.

I have seen on amazon the piezo system mp3 players, but they are either rechargable or battery powered.

Just hoping there is a device that could generate enough energy to make a quick sound from pulling a trigger.

The gun would either br molded around the system *Preferred*

or molded in halves, then seal the system inside.

Otherwise...

A rechargable or battery operated system would require removal or an anchored access for the plug-in, which I could do, but would like to avoid.

To get it to work the way you want... You could short the sound card trigger and set it in play one time mode. The downside is you have to hold the trigger for the entire sound. There also may be a delay since the board has to power up. I've never done it this way before, so it's just a guess based on the cards I've used.

If you go to Amazon and search "Sound Record Playback Modules" there are a ton of options.
