Can't wait. I even like the gun. May change my mind on that.

hi guys,

this is how the 3 dum-dum bullets looks like right now but the colors is wrong so I've asked the painter to try again...

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit Dum-Dum Gun & Bullets

Just wanted to add some insight and hope it helps.

The hammer on the prop shop looks more like a cow bell while yours looks more like a flag shape, or is it just me?

I dont know how these things work or if maybe its just how to looks now but final product will be more accurate but just in case I wanted to note that and hope it helps.

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit Dum-Dum Gun & Bullets

hi emma, thanks! I've been looking at the gun for so long I've not noticed it... I'll get the mold master to change the hammer :)

I think the back of the hammer actually has been broken, pretty sure it's not meant to be like that

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit Dum-Dum Gun & Bullets

Indeed, the propstore auction mentions:

The gun displays chips, scuffs and scratches throughout, and half of its hammer is missing.

In the movie it looks like this:

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit Dum-Dum Gun & Bullets

I was rewatching this movie, and noticed that not all scenes had an animated gun. In some of them, it was an actual prop, painted to resemble the animated one:

I didn't remember that, and assume the gun was animated throughout the complete movie. Turned out not to be the case. The gun the Prop Store sold, however, was a crew gift, not the actual "hero" gun. But it resembles the one in the above pictures very closely, so maybe the gift was cast from the hero prop. I don't know...
