Where to buy polyurethane resin Pigment packs

In the UK, I've seen plenty of places that sell pigments for PU resin to make them into various shades but only in 0.5kg tins as their smallest quantity at around £8-10. Considering the amount that is used in a casting, this seems a bit much for me.

Does anyone know of UK suppliers that do a "pigment pack" that has the major colours of black, white, red, blue, yellow etc. but in smaller bottles for a more reasonable price? Pigments strike me as the sort of thing you want like an artist's pallette and mixing colours together. I don't want just one large tin of "yellow" pigment.

Thanks!

the so-strong 9 pack sounds like what you're looking for £27 ish (quick google will bring up suppliers set to uk only search):

SO-Strong 9-pack

SO-Strong® liquid urethane colourants can be added to any Smooth-On liquid urethane rubber, urethane plastic or urethane foam (do not use with Smooth-On silicones). They can be used to create a variety of colour effects for a wide range of material applications. For glowing fluorescent colour effects, use Ignite colourants.

The NEW SO-Strong® 9 pack gives you the opportunity to experience each colour without spending a lot of money.

SO-Strong® colourants are highly concentrated, offer excellent dispersion and consistent colour. A very small amount will colour a proportionally large amount of liquid urethane material. The more you add in proportion to the volume of liquid urethane, the more dramatic the colour effect. Recommended loading range is .01 per cent to 3 per cent of total system weight. Do not overload the liquid urethane system or cure inhibition / oozing may occur. If this is your first time adding colour to a urethane system, it is recommended that you test the colour effect by adding a few drops to a small amount of material and observe the outcome.

i wanted to know also, where do you get grey pigment from?

or would i have to get white and black and mix them?
since the concentrations required are so small, like 1 or 2 drops, how do you go about mixing these?

for such a small bottle of pigment, the prices are almost extortionate.

Thanks Pobbrett, that So-Strong kit sounds just about right, can make about 1.5kg of coloured resin for each of those little pots, which is perfect for trialling colours. Though trying to find somewhere that will deliver for less than a £10 charge will be the challenge. Might just try and pick up some the next time I'm over there!
