What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Re: What's on your workbench?

I'm new here so I thought I'd join in....

I'm currently working on an 11th Doctor's Sonic, 10th Doctor's Sonic, and there's a have built (full scale) Dalek in the workshop.

Lots of cool stuff on here and some really great talent-- Here is my feeble contribution for now---

Re: What's on your workbench?

Finally finished the sculpt on the clasp for my Box of Gavrok and am pretty happy with it.
Now to cast it up in wax so I can have it cast in bronze or like material.

Re: What's on your workbench?

These are the old-style Mk6 helmets for Space Marines from Games Workshop's "Warhammer 40,000" tabletop wargame. I made the beaky helmet and the bolter rifle and was gearing up to make the whole suit of armor, but I got a C&D from Games Workshop so now the lack of funding for building the rest of the armor has slowed me down. It's now a backburner project that I'll get around to eventually.

Re: What's on your workbench?

First one finished, got a batch of 10 in primer still to paint up on the bench in the workshop. I had this one out in the conference room for a client so I thought I'd snap a photo. I was going to post pics of the finished one on the 405th forum but it seems goosed for the moment. I've still got all the wip pics so if anyone's interested I'll start a thread for it.

You could easily modify those to make a Killer Moth helmet!

I'm ashamed to say that I don't know what that is from, but the workmanship it beautiful.

Re: What's on your workbench?

wow the level of skill and talent on here never ceases to amaze me. XD

here is a tiny section of what is going on in my space I call a work bench

the box at the bottom is a pair of copper and brass goggles going to Canada. funny that two people within one week from the same country bought goggles. made the super strong reinforced box gig of it all a sort of run of two :D

the mask is for auctions but still not sure what color to go with on it. probably end up being red with some dark purple highlights but you never know. and the silver goggle parts are for another customer. mirrored lenses and german silver finishing on aluminum and stainless frames.

Working on a couple of costume pieces - Cassandra's sword and shield from Soul Calibur IV. Should be heading to paint this week.

Re: What's on your workbench?

That's looking pretty darn good. Are you going to make it functional or static?
