Skipping Halloween this year. Finally moving next week and won't have time plus I don't really know anyone there yet or where to go.

Decided to do a budget Immortan Joe for Halloween this year. I'm currently about 90% done, but it's more like 75% in the picture since it was taken a week ago. Apologies for the messy room.

Been working on a Star Lord outfit in bits and pieces here and there for the past few months, but progress is slow due to 2 kids and a 10 hr/day job. So far, I've got the Infinity Stone orb, Element Guns, Sony Walkman, and helmet earpiece 3D printed, I have the replica helmet they released some months ago, and one of the $120 trenchcoats you can find on any online retailer of choice (I would've killed for something more accurate, but we work with the budgets we have, not the budgets we want).

Next on the list of parts to get are moderately-accurate pants and (hopefully) leather to tool into boot spats to attach the yet-to-be-printed boot jets to. My birthday is this next Friday and I'm hosting a Halloween/birthday/gaming party at my house that I'd like this outfit to be finished for, so hopefully this week is fruitful in time to work on things.

I'm going for a non-traditional version of Death, based on Have Gun Will Travel. Think "Have Scythe Will Travel".

Here's the scythe:

they are mega expensive as they are actual body armour but you may be able to get the cover without the internal plates and use EVA foam to give it bulk/structure

I like it! If Royal Marine is too much, I vote for kid as midshipman.

Thanks. I actually already finished it. Some boots and khaki pants were the base. The jacket came together amazingly quickly in that perfect storm when you have an idea and watch it come together just as you imagine.

If interested here is a video showing the process I followed.

Hi All from Canada. This year I am doing the Demogorgon from Netflix' TV series "Stranger Things"

Going through this thread I am dwarfed by the work on here so please have mercy on my humble creation.
I used a Green Lantern Rubies suit as a base. Materials are liquid latex, flour, yoga mat foam, cotton batting, paper pulp/liquid latex mache. The teeth are quills from South African Pygmy Hedgehogs (shed naturally)

I recently picked up a dark raincoat slicker to update my Mad Eye Moody.
Last week I was doing some props shopping and found a fisherman's hook.
Looks like I'm going to do the killer from I Know What You Did Last Summer.
