What's everyone working on for Halloween this year?

Working on Captain Jack Aubrey from Master and Commander. I will be putting up a build thread soon. Wasn't sure if I would get it done so I waited until I at least could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Here is a teaser pic. The jacket is a prototype (instead of making a muslin) and will eventually be the undress version. I'm hoping to convert my 3 year old into a Royal marine to match but that is still very much in planning phase.

I WAS going to do Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas HST, but the party I am going to is strictly themed. Gonna have to save this for another year :(

The jacket is Magnoli's in the original, vibrant HST color scheme. I had to request the "elbow" patch on the front for accuracy. Magnoli's site shows it on the back.

I wear this jacket all the time and I get tons of compliments on it.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for this year, yet. With the release of the Black Series Poe Dameron helmet I was considering doing a Resistance style flightsuit costume, but then I looked at a picture of Poe and realized that it wasn't going to a be quick & easy or (most importantly) cheap costume to do. Between a Voltron Paladin helmet I'm making for my nephew and a steampunk costume, I really don't have much of a budget for Halloween this year. I'll probably either wear something from a previous year or, like I do a lot, improvise/cobble up something by mixing and matching from costumes that I already have with maybe a few, inexpensive, additions.

I bought the Titanfall 2 Vanguard helmet several months ago and thought about going as a character from the game, then decided to go with my own custom paint job for it instead. The scheme is based on the US Navy's VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" squadron that flew F-14's until 1995. The skull and bones still fly, but they're on F-18's now under VF-103.

Still have to work on the flight suit and putting armor on the vest, but they'll definitely have the Titanfall aesthetics. I bought the shoulder armor from Ein (https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=270639&page=3&p=4187526#post4187526), who makes absolutely AMAZING props.

So far, I've wired up a mic to it and some internal fans. I have an external voice changer I can connect the mic plug into, but I'm contemplating putting the speaker inside the helmet mouthpiece instead. Only problem is the feedback issue, because the mic would be right next to the speaker.

Decided a couple nights ago to place the Grand Moff Tarkin on the back burner because I wasn't confident in my ability to secure nice boots in time and on budget.

Now piecing together a 1980's Ghostbuster instead.

I've spent the last 6 months working on Kevin Matchstick from Mage. With the third part of the trilogy finally out I'm psyched.

I've decided that I'm going as Nathan Drake, it's simple enough and all I need are a few items and I can make a reasonably accurate Nathan Drake costume.

I originally wanted to do a Groot outfit... but changed idea after I finished the head piece and are now halfway through The Thing (Ben) from Fantastic 4.
The good thing is That Halloween is same weekend as London Comic con. So double jackpot. :)
Here is initial Eva foam base before adding another layer or rock/muscles.
