Pretty nice coincidence for this thread to get bumped as I just recently finished my 'grail'!!! A 100% metal "hero" style M41A pulse rifle from Aliens. Only plastic in this thing is the grips. Just finished the build yesterday.

I discovered this place a long time ago. looking for Information on a gun. back then there wasn't open enrollment. so It was forgotten for awhile. then I joined and slowly learned more and more about this movie prop. then the Infatuation took hold.

A Firefly Mal 47a. I dont own one but I FINALLY got a Sidkit Mal!

My biggest want is a Model 47A Mal Firefly pistol (although right now I'd settle for a Sidkit for the time being). Gods I'd love to get hold of that gun!

Mal pistol with wood grips would be just too cool. qmx is cool but just something about metal plated plastic just seems odd and unsatisfying to me.

A screen used Mal Reynolds Oil Can gun.

My "Grail prop" was only recently acquired - my Model 47A from the VERY limited run back in 2005.

Also my full Alliance armor kit from Firefly.

Is now a good time to mention that I own not only a Philippes, Sidkit TV Mal, AND a 47A, but also a production made set of brass parts that were used to make Mals pistol from the show? Not screen used, but they would have been by season two.

Screen used Browncoat. There were three used, and I got the one with the most screen time.
If you've seen a promo picture of Mal in his coat; it was almost certainly this one.
