What costumes are you working on?

Refining both my Homemade homecoming spidey and my 11th doctor. A better shirt and bow tie for 11, plus altering my CO sonic with a better paint job. Spidey is better lenses and webshooters. Then maybe onto something new....

So, some say I bear a resemblance to Kit Harington...so for Halloween this year, I'm working on a season 7 Jon Snow.

Edited to get rid of the pile of crap that is photobucket.

Both halves of the armor are done, and the sword is "good enough" at this point. Working on the gauntlets, the neck piece, the gambeson, and growing out this damn hair next. Will update soon!

Lots of cool works in planning or progress...

I'm working to complete a Blade Runner universe (circa 2019) police detective costume before Blade Runner 2049 opens. Not a specific character from the film, but one of the thousands of folks roaming the police precinct and and walking the sectors

Nismo, that is AMAZING work! Are you sculpting straight into the Eva with a Dremel or something else? Just curious about your process cause that detail and depth is just awesome!

Yeah carving with a dremel - the white foam is 3/4" L200 Foam so it's thickness gives me a lot to work with on the bark The grey foam is your typical 3/8 foam mats from Harbor Freight. The tubing is Pipe Wrap (Lowes) in 3 diameters and the vines are door/window seal foam rolls (also in 3 different diameters)
after I carve I hit it with the heat gun to get rid of little furries created by the dremel and also seals the foam at the same time.

As I've just ended my Jocasta Nu costume right before Japan Expo, my next one is quite Eiko-ish one. I'm currently working on the reincarnation gown, from Coppola Dracula. Embroidery is not a quiet river, and I've just seen that there is a mistake on the dragon crest I've made ^^

I still have to create a template for the leaves on the sleeves and the skirt.

Working on ESB Vader, I've got pauldrons to repaint and some straps to the chestbox to repair.

I working on the same thing! What material are you using for the brigandine?

I followed along with what this here...

He did a MUCH better job than I did on the armor.

It's all 2mm foam, layered. But if I could do it over again...which I probably will, I would use pleather and EVA foam. Because currently, there is ZERO mobility in this thing. Can't bend, can hardly walk comfortably, and at the right angle it looks like I'm stuffed in a tube.

I'm planning to do it again using the foam as the "steel" plates and the pleather for, well, the leather.

I think you both did an awesome job! But the mobility would bug me especially at a halloween party

Working on an Eileen the Crow cosplay from Bloodborne. So far, I have the Crowfeather Cape. I decided to run through my first make of this and get all the mistakes out in the first run. I would pattern the shoulders differently and I treated the hessian with PVA glue to stop it fraying further, that needs more tests, spray glue maybe? Suggestions?
