I already have the hairpiece picked out; just have to gain 20 pounds now. ;) :lol

Kevin

Tony - Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, the white suit and the first costume thing, Heath wears to his first show.
Hans Landa - Inglorious Basterds, I am just crazy over the amount of detail in his movie theatre costume, so many medals!

Captain Jack Harkness
Kirk (TOS)
Indy (Raiders)
and possibly/hopefully Buck Rogers (Gil version)

Predator (custom design)

Alien (custom design)

Freddy Krueger 2010

And I'll start making some Iron Man stuff soon.

Stay Puft and Deadmau5 right now. Hoping to do some Rocketeer before Halloween as well.

Hum... the current things I'm working on?

-Batman "Panther" Suit

Adding little touches to it but as far as "working on it"... more accurate would be to say "working towards it". Getting from a guy and every day I go into work I'm working towards it. This a dream costume for me and I'm REALLY excited for it to be complete so I can win some prizes from it but more importantly I'd really like to make some appearances at the Children's Hospital here in Milwaukee.

But as far as things I'm adding... these, for example will be changed from brown to black and put on the belt near the rear of my hips. The "front" pouch on both sides will have speakers mounted in them then connected to my iPod Nano which will play the themes from the movies as I see fit. The "rear" pouches will be farther back by my...rear? :love :confused And will hold my phone and wallet and what not.

-"Hush" version of Catwoman

The most difficult part is the goggles. Here's what I'm working on.

-Ash Williams from Army Of Darkness

This is just in the beginning stages. I went and bought the shirt and pants from Goodwill today and I'm still trying to wrap my head around a shotgun and chainsaw. The Panther Suit and bills are soaking up all my funds currently so this will be a super cheap build. I'm thinking of using a one gallon plastic gas jug as the base for the chainsaw... but that's about as far as I've gotten.

REALLY need to throw this together quick as I would love to go strolling around the nearby Ren Faire in it.

Work in progress -

ANH-style Tusken Raider with Gaffi - all parts and material in hand, mask is about 3/4-finished, maybe. Needs another layer of fabric strips, and weathering (but I probably want the rest of the costume closer to done before I do that, so it'll all match). I've done a little bit of sewing on the inner robes, and just barely started weathering on the one repro Brit ammo belt - I've also got a real vintage Swedish one, which needs an extender (and that'll need weathering to match) but is otherwise fine and will serve as a bandolier. Gloves and arm-wraps are started. And... that's probably about it, for that one.

ESB Vader's pretty much always in progress, really, but it's one of those "it's never REALLY done," things. Been trooping in it for years.

Attempting to expand my armoring skills by teaching myself pepakura. Got two projects to learn on, a Mk VI Mjolnir helmet - DF4L's file, IIRC - which is nearly finished with assembly (two major subassemblies and a few small parts left to glue in place, then I can start slathering on the resin), and an Iron Man helmet, courtesy of Sharkhead and Dubean, which I have printed out but haven't done anything else with yet. Both files were downloaded from the 405th just prior to The Great DDoS Attack (frakking hackers :angry). I'll be trying to get these as nicely finished as I'm capable of, but I didn't bother trying to scale them for my head or anything. I'd like to eventually do both armor suits for myself, once I lose a good bit more weight (down 20 pounds and counting!!!), but the Mjolnir helm will be a gift for my stepson, who's a huge Halo fan, and the Iron Man is for my stepdaughter, who's possibly an even bigger IM fan.

Custom Luxeon K2 Jedi saber, for my Rebel Legion Jedi costume (itself another eternal WIP, though not a high-quality as my 501st Vader - one reason why it's WIP). I have MOST of the parts I need to assemble it, but I've changed the design over the years (yes, YEARS), and need some different stuff to do it the way I want now. I've got about half the parts necessary for another custom saber, this one a Yoda-esque short-bladed job, and I have all the stuff necessary to convert my stock Ep3 Anakin FX saber to a Luxeon-III-driven polycarb-bladed unit.

I've got assorted other long-range and "Gee, wouldn't THAT be cool?" projects, but that's probably all I can credibly be claiming to have actively in progress. :D

yesterday I got the idea and urge to create a xenomorph costume with functioning jaw. The idea keeps getting more complex as I think about it... now I'm planning on including ventilation and a cooling system, and want to do some simple animatronics in the tail.
