A wearable Prawn hand would also be excellent ... I understand the original prosthetic used a mechanism that allowed the tentacles to move as the fingers bent.

This would be my personal choice as well. Would LOVE a Wickus hand.

Wikus being such a strong lead should make for easy decision making when it comes to Weta's collectible line: Wikus-centric items will likely garner the most interest.

Wikus' hand, any gun Wikus held, then the interest will follow in the weapons that were shown but not used, for those who are simply fans of the aesthetic ... of which there are MANY!

Mothership, dropship and exo-suit as model kits, toys or maquettes would be nice. I'd normally only want them as kits, but this stuff is so awesome I'll be happy with them in any format.

LEDs would give a flat, electrical look, IMO. I'm fantasizing about two little butane burner rings and a fan to suck air inwards, keeping the flames internal to the muzzle. Would have to be a bit heavy-duty, metal construction etc.

Quick question, If the Arc only comes with a wall mount is the gun able to stand upright ? I've no room on the wall for that item and was going to put it on top of a sideboard.

Well Martyn, i cant get the Pulse rifle i want, and the HCG is way overpriced for me, so having this direct from a movie prop mold, makes up for no PR big time, quite excited now as it goes!

I knew the chances of the guns being produced in NZ were slim (especially considering the price), but I just got confirmation that they are being produced in china. Guess that means we'll be lucky if we get these by christmas, quality will be so so and the paintjob won't look half as good as in the pictures :unsure Hopefully Weta's QC works better than the one of other prop companies in the past...

Everything i've had from Weta has been spot on so i've no worries about quality regarding this, if Sideshow was putting it out I wouldn't have pre-ordered. It'll be great.

It's technically called the Alien Medical Tool. I was told that the scene with Wikus initially use the Alien Teleporter but it was too large and bulky to use.

The Alien Medical Tool ended up being used. The Alien Teleporter was supposed to teleport chinks of matter and was used for mining.

I think it's new name is Sonic Force Gun.
