I've got a mini mostly done, but had to shelve the project till after the holidays.

I would love to see some pictures! Any idea what kind of vacuum tube that is?

Instead of a real tube, I'm just going to do a look alike. Since they switched in making the props from real breakable tubes to look alikes anyway, its pretty much the same thing.

I also found some led lightup "tubes" in walmarts candy aisle... light saber candy, and they even have lightup blue.

I noticed they are pumping up the tesla effects work even more than before, so a lightup feature might be nice.

I though I already posted wip images a few months ago here in this thread?

Hey guys has anyone sourced or even know what are the springs on the tesla barrel? I will be working on the gauge panel this week. I need this finished my MegaCon.

Timelordd, can I ask what kind of tube you used for the front?
Also: did you machine connectors for the two back tubes??

I imagine a smooth matte photo paper would do the trick nicely. Something with "satin" in it's name, probably.

Are the rear tubes the same length? I think the fat one should be shorter than the thin one. I've still got a box of suitable donor tubes here.

yeah for now they are the same size for now, just to get the parts done.
