Nah, I'm off work this coming week.
I have a lot of time to get things done.
Gonna get a lot out of the way.
My goal for both suits was Halloween but....

I'm hoping to get at least 1 done for the end of august to wear at Toronto's FanEXPO.
I can make it in time!

Got a quick question about the cardboard iron patriot helmet ,how do you get the brow ? and also what way are you drawing the patterns on the card (are you followed the corggiations down or accross )

I haven't really been paying attention to the direction of the corrugation. That's me though, I don't over analyze much. Didn't make much difference to me.

Hey STEALTH, I've been wondering this for the longest time and haven't found much information on it, but you seem to have a lot of knowledge on alternative methods, so I thought maybe you'd know
Do you know if spare fabric, such as cotton, would be a viable safer alternative to fibreglass?

I saw someone cut up an old tshirt before. I never tried it myself though. You can always test different things. I've only used just fiberglass mat/cloth

I recommend using fiberglass mat
Twice as strong, a t shirt cant provide enought strengh

Ive tried a shirt..it worked for me..im using it on my biceps on my wm..just like fiber glass you can double up on it to make it stronger..i only used one layer it came out good..
..for a person on a budget i recommend it..

thanks for these stef.....hopefully i can get a complete suit this time ha... around the ear pieces i see you used foam was it hard to cut and get the correct angels instead of using cardboard? cheers pal

I just used scissors like I did for the angles in the foam costume tutorial. I could have just made them in cardboard. It's not a big difference.

cheers pal, put the ear pieces on today also so im just taking my time and going along with your vids. I followed your every move haha couldnt have done without you!! the dreaded bondo stage is where I need to deff take notes! done a mark vi also the same way , but have to tell you I never got to the chest stage or neck piece, a bit nervous about the whole scale thing...
