Great video Stealth for the beginners, when I started it took me ages to find out how to rotate the 3d model :facepalm Just one question, how come you started disabling comments for all your videos? :)

I thought it was just me that was like $%^@%@%?!?! when I first used the pepakura program and couldn't rotate the model like everyone does in videos! :lol

So this is great work STEALTH, I'm sure the new beginners will appreciate it a lot!
Can't wait for the videos when you actually start building and resin/bondo-ing!

I am just going to take a moment to say thanx to Stealth. Although i don't know you personally, we all know the great work that you do to contribute to the society known as the RPF. Your vlogs have inspired so many of us. Your vlog was the first that i had seen. I was hooked after that. You've been a very busy guy to do what you've done here so i just wanted to acknowledge that. Cheers man...GM

Re: IRON PATRIOT Costume Build - TUTORIAL VLOG

This is what people were asking me to do. I hope people can at least apply this series to any costume. It really will be universal and not just for Iron man related costumes. You just need common sense and apply it to any files.

If in the end, it's still not comprehensive enough for even the most computer illiterate person, I really don't know what to say lol.

STEALTH! I noticed you are using the old Pepakura Designer. You should get the new one because it has a new feature called "Mirror Inversion (both 3D and 2D), which flips both the templates and the 3D model, which makes it a lot easier to build opposite armor pieces (ie right bicep and then left bicep). You don't have to buy a new Serial key so it's just a simple install.

I'll make a note of that for when I get to the armor. Luckily I'm on the helmet first. Thanks for the heads up .

Re: IRON PATRIOT Costume Build - TUTORIAL Part 1(C) has been added to Playlist. Page

Sorry man, this isn't really the place to ask.

Re: IRON PATRIOT Costume Build - TUTORIAL Part 1(C) has been added to Playlist. Page

Nice to see you again, Stealth! Let me thank you for inspiring to build a costume (i was just randomly surfing Internet when i came to your youtube channel, and thats how my build started :D It's nearly all glued, wish i can finish it till summer's end).
But, some question about painting (yep, its kinda early now, but anyway). Will you paint the Iron Patriot like your foam War Machine (pva-primer-paint)? I think that's not the better painting method, and, as it's going to be your last foam suit... It would be kinda pity (maybe, only to me -_-) if the paint cracks at the same day you wear the suit. Perhaps, you will give a look to docholiday78's or XRobots (plastic coating) methods? They are way better, good-looking and durable, and since you're such a great costume builder, i guess you may want to use great methods in your builds...
But, who am I to teach a master how to paint the suit. Sorry if my message sounds impolitely.
Good luck with the build! Can't wait to see new tutorials, maybe I missed something.

Re: IRON PATRIOT Costume Build - TUTORIAL Part 1(C) has been added to Playlist. Page

As awesome as a resin replica suit of this build would be , I don't really have time to sand and what not.
If I was going to make a rigid armor, I personally wouldn't use foam. I'd use the foam templates over cardboard and resin/fiberglass those then fill/sand.

Foam wouldn't be my first option.
It takes less work and money to strengthen cardboard to be honest.
