War machine 1st attempt

What scale did you use on the upper and lower legs?
I'll find out..need to look at my notes..i thought i put my scales on here...
Looks fantastic so far! I don't know how far you are into the Ammo belt for the M134, buy have you considered doing the links in smooth cast? You could easily cast multiple at a time, and they would be fairly light-weight and more durable than cardboard. Just a though, other than that, this is looking seriously fantastic, keep up the good work!
Thanks..i was thinking about it..but I never done that before another project ..lol

Hey Don i have thought, instead of using metal. How about carbonfibre tubing from old hockey sticks. Just a thought...GM

That's a good idea but aren't hockey sticks slightly tapered? And expensive? The odds of finding one here in Yuma AZ even used are not so great..lol...the reason i went with metal is because its easy to get a hold of its cheap...and i have a welder.....it probably won't bend under pressure...i think the hockey sticks may fall apart at the joints were you glue them...but who knows.....thanks for the tips they are highly appreciated..

hey don juan what measures you have?:confused
i mean from head to toe?
I say this because I wanted to resize my parts to my size comparing whit the previously scales published
help please? lol:$
ohhh and excellent job doing so of course is supported by all of us will be in your project!!:popcorn

I'm 6 foot..i have most of my scales up still looking for my leg scale..that someone requested..if I would do out over i would rescale almost everything slightly smaller..just a tad bit...i feel small inside it..lol..my helmet I'm almost done..I'm redoing the whole thing

You did for most but I couldn't find the legs

I'm so sorry it took forever i was having trouble figuring out why my length width and depth was offby a lot...my scale i used for the tight shin and hip pod was was....1.50....but i forgot I forgot I imported all three at the time so everything changed.....i couldn't understand why i had different numbers..lol..oh well....

But scale i used was 1.50 for whole leg and 1.10 for shoe

Haha I actually had your scales in my stuff too, since we're almost the same size. Here's what I have:

Helmet-1.44
Neck-1.80
Chest- 1.69
Abs- 1.9
Shoulders- 1.54
Biceps- 1.69
Forearm- 1.48
Hands, Fingers, etc- 1.00
Thigh-15.0
Shin- 1.50
Shoe 1.10

This sound right? I assume the cod was done in 1.9 too, and I thought you had to mod the biceps a little bit because they were bigger? That was a long time ago :lol

Cool thanks...it's hard to go back on the phone i miss stuff..lollollol

Oh i don't think the helmet it's right though it fits tight to be thatscale..i don't know how i got that number...

Hey Don. I'm just one of those guys that just can't let go. Lol- My brother who works with a hockey organization, will be giving me a small collection of broken sticks. I hope to give this idea a try. Who knows if it works maybe i can send some your way if the cost is low...GM
