I used thrust bearings on my cannon proto, and they worked perfect. You can find them in all different inner and outer diameters, metal or otherwise.[/url]
You know I hadn't really looked at thrust bearings! I saw some at my local surplus store, but they were too large a diameter. That might be just the ticket!

Man that's going to be sharp . Will the fiberglass hold the weight of the actuated metal cannon? Just curious. Thinking of doing a fiberglass WM myself. Been working with foam to get in the swing of things.

Oh that's what he ment....lol..yes a spring will hold it up..the springs are what hold it up in place...
