Voyager Hypospray

I got the machined aluminium kit from Nicksdad, and what a very nice kit it is too.
I had secveral thoughts on how to finish it off, and was drawn to the colour scheme used in Voyager; as seen in these two screen caps.

I had noticed the way the Doctor and other users that they would be adjusting something at the back of the head, and so surmised that there must be a kind of touch screen to increment/decrement the dosage.
I created a display that might just fit it with that assumption.
I left the outer casing and head the original aluminium for a more realistic effect.

The stand was made from a metal candlestick holder base with about 4cm of pole still attached, and slid over the pole, a rubber seal from one of those oil spouts that one uses in the top of a cooking oil bottle. the hypospray fits snugly over the rubber seal.

That looks very sharp...and it answers the question I have been asking myself...
to paint or not to paint.

For me, I think I will paint.....but still, in all metal, it looks sharp. Very "military"...
What did you use for the switch decal? It adds just the right touch.

I designed the decal to look the way I thought it should look, with a subtle thumb ridges.

Beautiful hypospray ... actually motivated me to pick up my own from Nicksdad and what an AMAZING kit ! I am thinking of painting it the FC color scheme to go with my other metal FC props but am not sure of the colors; even tried to pull some decent screen caps from the FC DVD. Does anyone know what color the hypospray was that Dr. Crusher uses on Lily, Picard and herself? Thanks for any help.

Here is my interpretation of the First Contact hypospray; I know I need a vial of green liquid but I only had red and blue mouthwash handy. Thanks for the AMAZING aluminum kit Nicksdad!

Well...you're probably 6 years too late. But since this thread had the makers name written about ten times, I would just send a message to the original maker of the kit
