I got the machined aluminium kit from Nicksdad, and what a very nice kit it is too.
I had secveral thoughts on how to finish it off, and was drawn to the colour scheme used in Voyager; as seen in these two screen caps.
I had noticed the way the Doctor and other users that they would be adjusting something at the back of the head, and so surmised that there must be a kind of touch screen to increment/decrement the dosage.
I created a display that might just fit it with that assumption.
I left the outer casing and head the original aluminium for a more realistic effect.
The stand was made from a metal candlestick holder base with about 4cm of pole still attached, and slid over the pole, a rubber seal from one of those oil spouts that one uses in the top of a cooking oil bottle. the hypospray fits snugly over the rubber seal.
