Well another counter productive day half way to Manhattan I realized I left the wheel on the table I was supposed to mail Al Frak! Back to the Gel coat Al is it automotive gel coat that brushes on easy? And what kind of Gel coat do you use?

Okay guys here is the entire casted kit the wheels are temps as one will be sent out to Al, "IEDBOUNTYHUNTER" this week to draw up on the computer and printed which would add the finer details to it that would be impossible to get even by hand when you wear a nice suit the shoes have got to go well with it same with a car could be nice and shinny but if your wheels look like crap it will show.

It is going down today, I started painting the 1st casting for the beauty shots glued the fins on, puttied them up and blended them in and also painted the wheels and engine, and side details in an automotive gunmetal which I think looks good so far.

Too cool only with the primer on.
And when you paint it.........

I think I'm going to go home and weep in my flower bed.

Funny thing today when I went work on the model this morning I took the wheels off which the car was just sitting on, and noticed black paint on my hands and some of the paint on the wheels were kind of wet but I noticed the other two wheels that were painted with the same paint were completely dry! So I figured it out, under the wheel wells had no primer so the wheels were touching eposed resin which caused this reation. So I basically have to have the car well primered and not let the black paint touch any exposed areas of resin, Sherlock Homeboy Cracks the case LOL.:behave

Still having the paint issue which I never had before its the same resin and Tamiya primer I use. Its the black paint or maybe the combo of the fiberglass. I may strip the model down and shoot it in acrylic, well here are some shots it still needs some of the body details done in the gunmetal like the fender flares and grill but not going to do it until I strip it down.
