Seriously man your work is amazing! I have a basic formation in arts due to my job (video game level designer) and I could never do a tenth of what you did ... I did worked with clay but the core of my skills stop at sketching and the likes. Again, congratulations!

yeah for sure each one you learn something and im still new to costuming ..im lucky though as i get to go back and finish carnage as I originally wanted him to look. thanks for the comments dday your comments and critiques keep me on my toes..lol

The blue highlights really bring out the details of your sculpt and only give more awesomness to your suit.

yeah i was just thinking that as i put finishing touches on...ill take vids as soon as white dries , but then its gone...not much time to enjoy it at all...... its off to the comic expo. i will definitly make another for me as soon as i get the time.

here is the the motion test vid. didnt have alot of room but i felt like i could jump through a wall...lol similar to football gear. great movement . i ripped the underarms loose from some inhibiting latex and fixed those. the shoulders and arms work even better now . i busted the zipper to the lycra suit zipper couldnt handle getting in and out very well ..so ill replace tomorrow with more robust one....so id say thats a tip do that first..as changing it out later is a pain working around all that muscle and the original zipper wont last , not if you want to move aggressively and if your in a venom suit you do trust me..
ill have another vid hopefully with some cool action and locale before i send it away...it was a bitter pill for him(client) today ...getting a better suit, but has to wait another day or two....i fell bad for the guy but it will be worth it. and as bonus i get to hang out a with eddie a

little longer before he goes..lol

I do thing the huge hands make the proportion of the suit a bit off, but as you look so bulky and muscle up In that suit I wouldn't say a word in front of you :lol

You can be proud of the work you did, I can't imagine how hot it must get under this symbiote monster suit.
I wonder how's the visibility though ? Maybe I missed something.

Concerning the client, I wouldn't mind a couple of day of waiting especially if the maker told me that he thinks the zipper needed to be fixed.
I mean, it just proves how dedicated you are and would make even happier in the perspective of receiving the most efficiant suit possible.

AWESOME! JUST FREAKING AWESOME! NOW THAT'S HOW VENOM IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK!! The size and detail blows my mind. Thanks for the tip on the zipper too. Other wise it looks like your movement test was a success. Thanks for sharing the vid and the build. Can't wait to see both of them together.

Flat out amazing, especially the movement and not having to worry about breaking the suit by moving around a little.

The hands do seem a bit oversized, I think it was always carnage that had the crazy long fingers to give him a more villainous look, might be wrong though.

the hands are an asthetic that both the client and i thought were cool in the design....we cherry picked features and we both liked the huge paws....but i see your point ..I just love them .
the eyes are made from scrim material . its a threater trick i learned . great stuff . you can see out pretty good . i airbrush and painted it to blend but i had no problems getting around..you can see out the mouth too so between the two its good .
heat not sure yet i was in it 1/2 hr to 45 minutes and i was fine .im sure walking around all day at convention center would be hot but i suggested the client wear gel packs ductaped to chest in those situations or long periods. its looks bulkier than it really is. i had to build a suit on dummy to act as client to build the thing so i had a little room inside and with use it will stretch and form to its new host..lol
id rather be late delivering than send something i know will bust. im trying to build my reputation and that would not fly..its a tough choice sometimes as nobody like delays but in the end they will forgive you if you give them something special.

dont forget they are both villains..
venom is an alien and supposed to be creepy..i like the oversized hands because they add to that feel for me . its subjective i see your point but when picking reference i loved simon bisleys venom with the huge paws and it just stuck . carnage is more like freddy kruger long sharp blades....venom has huge mitts good for catching spiders...lol and i didnt want him looking like a bodybuillder having the huge hands eliminates the human factor alittle.

Actually, I dig the huge hand look.
I only think it makes the arm look a tad bit too long compare to the lower portion of the body.
Otherwise, It make the suit look more menacing and creepier, just as Venom should be. But that's a "problem" that shows only when the suit is laying in a relax pose.
Once in action or video, It looks just wonderful. I would be actually scare to see that giant hand grab me by my head :lol

Whatever was paid for that venom wasn't enough! Outstanding.

How the host needs to either paint his face and neck black or wear some sort of face/neck cover so we don't see skin underneath

I can't wait to see how you fix up the carnage!
