Does anyone know if there was a definitive number of VM01's made?

discounting recasts.

many thanks :thumbsup

I've recently acquired a VM02 - great helmet, I love it.

As I understand it, the difference between V1 and V2 was only in the dome, is that correct? What are the specific differences between the versions?

The VMv1 is a Jeff/GH style helmet.

The VMv2 is a combination of a Jeff/GH style dome and 20th C face.

wow.. shift the dome slightly and angle the picture differently and vader looks ANGRY! :lol

I'm loving both versions - love the GH version as well.. y'know - I just love them all.

Well, yes and no. As I understand it, the VM02 used a different base altogether. The VM01 had a Fyberdyne look to it while the VM02 was a significantly modified 20th Century. The difference between the two versions is more than a change in dome positioning.

oh I know CSMac - I was just commenting on how a change in the dome position changes the look of vader.. I wasn't answering the question on what the exact differences were as that was answered already.

I just made that random observation because i'm trying to display the vader helmets I myself have now - and I noticed that myself while playing with the domes.

I guess my comment was too obvious and simple for you vader experts. I was just trying to make conversation :angel because I love vader helmets. especially ANH ones that look angry :)
