V face skin

started making a new classic V prop
using clay and a stryofoam head
molded clay on the head in the shape close to
V face skin
made a mold in Rtv silicone and casted a test peice in latex

next up is to paint and figure out how to "glue" the piece to face
for when wearing one of my V costumes

Once i get in the new supply of latex at end of the week
ill cast a few up and post a interst thread
it would be for a raw unpainted casting

that looks great, why did you cast in silicone though? plaster is better for making latex prosthetics

used silicone this time with a clay prop
because i have bad luck with plaster on the
1st few times i tryed making the mold
and didnt want to remake the clay model again

You need to clear out some of the airbubbles in the latex when you go to putting the latex into the mold, and as for sticking it to the face you can just use Spirit Gum Adhesive to put it on and Remover to take it off.
